The Last Minute Guide to #SVMF

untitled (10 of 21)

I went to my very first music festival last year and was hooked! From then on, I told myself that I would put ‘Music Festivals’ on my Summer bucket list where I would try out different ones every year! So what did I learn from last year?

1. Wear Sunscreen

Even though I grew up in a tropical country, I’ve come to realize that I do, actually burn.

2. Bring lots of blanket and sweaters

I have a total of 3 huge blankets, a giant hoodie and a thick sweater. Call me crazy but I remember freezing in my sleep last year.

3. Prepare for the smell of ‘honey buckets’

In case you don’t know, Honey Buckets is the term used to describe the portable toilets in Sasquatch. That smell has forever ingrained itself in the back of my mind and.. I am ready for you. *holds breath*

4. Wear loose clothing (Practical fashion)

Last year I was very excited about covering Festival Fashion that I went all -out with the body jewels, the flower crowns, colourful swimsuits, high waisted shorts. Here is my honest opinion : Having clothing stick to your ass when you’re all sweaty is not the most comfortable experience. This year I’m packing lighter, and by lighter I mean my clothes are all airy, thin and breathable.

5. Take breaks from being in the sun

As much as I wanted to fully experience the entire festival vibe, sitting directly under scorching heat was probably not the best idea. Mini breaks here and there between shade and sun is on the checklist this time around!

The In- Thing for Festival Season This Year is…..

METALLIC TATTOOS!!

Thanks to CROWNLUST, I will be covering myself in Metallic Tattoo goodness all weekend! Woohoo!!
