Sit Down with Shae Wilbur

One of my favourite things is that in this industry, everybody is connected in one way or another, and no two paths are exactly the same! During my trip to LA, I spent some time chomping down on crepes with this lovely, bubbly soul and I got an insight on how crazy this journey we call life is! Join me for my Sit Down with TV Host, Shae Wilbur!

Here are the Top 5 Things I Got from Chatting with Tv Host and Pop Culture Expert Shae Wilbur:

Shae-Wilbur

  1. Your career journey rarely goes as plan

Shae starting singing at the tender age of 8 and music was and still is her heart and soul. After a successful album release and tour, she made her way to American Idol! Fast forward to Hollywood week, Shae found herself loving being on camera equally, if not more, than singing.

Double fast forward, she found herself landing a job as the Social Media Correspondent for FOX, with weekly segments on entertainment, that later turned into national segments across all FOX Affiliates.

  1. Only you can limit yourself

Shae had no background in journalism when she auditioned for Face of Fox years ago! Surrounded in a room with broadcast journalism students, she held on to her spunky personality, strengths and believed in what she could do. And sure enough, she got the job!

3. 90s spin on 70s flair is coming back

Shae wears many hats. She is the weekly host of SHOP THE SCOOP on EXTRA TV alongside Mario Lopez, she hosts HLN’s The Daily Share as a contributor, is on The Wendy Williams Show as a Celebrity Insider, has a fun beauty Youtube channel and the list pretty much goes on!

So knowing her background in style and trends, I had to ask what is IN TREND right now. 90s spin on the 70s flair! According to Shae, she thinks that the 70s never really ever go out of style, ex: bell bottoms and fringe are making a comeback and so are chokers!

  1. Trust and Faith grounds you

Shae is not one to be shy to share her faith in God! On her social media platforms, she shares her love for church, God, and all that she’s been blessed and gifted in her life. And to be completely fair, that is a breath of fresh air, especially in an industry that is known to be cut throat.

5. She likes to record her chomping on my voice recorder

STORY TIME! So as I was listening back to the audio recording of our interview, I remembered that I had to step aside to pick up my crepe. And to my surprise, and a string of laughter which ensued shortly after, Shae decided to do a short commentary about her chomping skills when I stepped away.

Thank you Shae, very funny. Haha

This starlet is continually making strides in Hollywood, and I can’t wait to see what else she gets up to!
