I found myself stumbling upon an interesting article linking a Psychological study of giving to what gifts would be best given to your loved ones! I swear I’m such a sucker for psychology and how it meshes with life. Check out The Colour Series and you’ll understand my obsession with the human psyche.

1. Give a gift that not only reflects the person you’re buying it for, but YOURSELF as well – Apparently you’ll feel closer! Interesting, so basically inject a part of your tastes into a gift for others. in simpler terms, don’t buy a shitty gift you wouldn’t like yourself haha!
2. If you give something BIG, don’t throw in a smaller gift that pales in comparison. It actually doesn’t complete the gift, it reduces how great the big one looks. Darn, I love throwing in smaller gifts to make it prettier
