Beauty Travel Essentials Checklist | Vlog

Products for the Beauty Travel Essentials Checklist were provided by Sephora Canada, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.ย

I strongly dislike packing. The only thing that is worse than packing, is unpacking, but we’ll leave that for another day. I’ve had this post in mind for a while (actually, before I left for a month to Asia), and am really pleasantly surprised with the results. So here we go! ย Ps, if you have not watched the video, watch it first and then come back here! These are my top Travel Beauty Essentials to take with you on your next summer time vacation!

Again, you should really watch the video #vlog first because I will be making quite a few references to that as I go along!

When packing beauty essentials, there are a couple things you should keep in mind to make sure you have all you need to keep up with the change in weather (whether it’s going to somewhere warmer or colder) and how to maximize the amount of space in your luggage!

I try to wear minimal makeup but that still includes the basics!

1. Foundation

No matter where you go, it’s important to carry around foundation or concealer to even out differences in colour tones on your skin. Also travelling long haul flights do end up taking a toll on you and having some foundation on your face allows yourself to look more awake! The foundation that I use usually has some SPF in it so it also protects you from UV rays! The one in my video is from Tarte Cosmetics and is a water based foundation- goes on very smooth and doesn’t feel or look cakey- unless I mean, you decide to cake it on.

Definitely a Travel Beauty Essential!

2. Eye moisturizer

I have very sensitive skin and just recently have been having weird eczema occurences when the weather changes up. Hence, it’s hard to find something that can moisturize my eyes but is still gentle. I found it! muahaha, I also like putting this product in the fridge so it’s nice and cold when I put it on my under eyes.

What’s the product you ask? Watch the video to find out.

3. Eye Contour

Unless your vacation involves camping, you’d be having late nights on the town. This Kat Von D Eye Kit is travel sized (as is with all the products in the video) so it’s super easy to pack in your hand bag or carry on! I like to board long haul flights without makeup, but slap on some about 45 minutes prior to landing! Hence why, this product is actually great because it doesn’t take room in your purse, it has instructions and a mini mirror inside.

Definitely a Travel Beauty Essential!

4. Hand Moisturizer, Lipbalm and Lipstick

I clumped these together because moisturizing is important so you don’t feel dehydrated. I share my favorite lipstick shade in the video- be sure to check that out!

5. Hair ties

So so important because I can’t count all the times where I was so grateful to be able to put all my hair up in a bun and out of my face. You’ll be running around, carrying luggage and trying to enjoy yourself that sometimes that involve putting your hair..UP.

The hair ties in the video are also cute enough to layer on as arm candy! Watch!

Definitely a Travel Beauty Essential!
